Lisa and Kevin, where to begin?
Their wedding day was nothing short of their own. Every aspect and detail of this wedding was exactly how they wanted and envisioned and spoke completely to their personalities. Their Colorado mountain wedding was simple elegance on a weekday surrounded by work friends, family, their kids and of course the gorgeous front range of the Rockies. This outdoor wedding fell on one of the most perfect Colorado Fall weather days. A string quartet, fresh fruit infused waters, a bloody mary bar, and an incredible brunch were all just part of what made this day so incredibly special. Fresh Tracks Catering did an absolutely phenomenal job on the brunch, hors d’oeurves and presentation. This wedding was truly one of the most laid back, enjoyable mountain weddings I have had the pleasure to photograph. In my wedding day photography questionnaire I ask every bride and groom for their best advice fr future couples and Lisa confidently replied to me that they should do whatever makes them happy and what makes their wedding THEIR wedding. Not to conform to stereotypes or let others talk you into things that aren’t truly your personality. And it could not have been more genuine advice. You could tell every aspect of this mountain wedding, down to Kevin’s KU socks was fit perfectly to their personality.
I am so humbled and beyond grateful to have been given this opportunity to photograph their wedding and get to know Lisa and Kevin and their families. Thank you both again from the bottom of my heart, I love what I do and feel so blessed that couples trust me with such an important job.
