Obviously, I say this about every single wedding. I know it sounds redundant. But I seriously love being a wedding photographer. Every single wedding makes me feel this way. BUT this wedding, this wedding was something special. This is a wedding that cannot be matched sentimentally. You see, Misty is the bride, and Jenny is Misty’s gorgeous mother.
If it weren’t for Jenny, I would either A) not be a wedding photographer or B) not be anywhere near where I am in my wedding photography career. You see, the wedding photography business is unbelievably cut throat and can be quite competitive (luckily I have found some really great communities that encourage each other rather than shoot them down). BUT after months of offering to tag along to weddings for free, and all but begging to get some experience with weddings and get my foot in the door- Jenny reached out and offered for me to come along with her to a wedding she was shooting. Because of her and her kindness, I booked three weddings and the rest was history.
So with all that said, when she called asking about my availability to shoot her beautiful daughters wedding, I of course said abso-freaking-lutely. And the rest, as they say, was history. And really exceptional history at that!
