I shared this Colorado elopement with you guys a while back. However, I did not share these epic black and white film portraits of the bride and groom. We went adventuring after their micro wedding/elopement and found a mountainside to explore. Marissa and Lukas both loved black and white portraits and during our phone consult had asked if I could edit any of the film to be black and white. No need! I had black and white film in my bag! Woohoo!
The moral of the story, always communicate with your photographer! The couple love these photos and I am so happy that they said something so we could make their dreams a reality!
This Colorado elopement was in Nederland, just outside of Boulder. If you have never driven the peak to peak highway out there, you must! Peak to Peak Highway is the single most stunning drive I have ever taken in my whole life! As an avid road tripper- this is a huge statement. Just take my word for it and GO!
If you are interested, these beautiful scans are on the film PanF and were scanned by The Find Lab.
So, if you are interested in learning more about film photography they are an excellent resource and insanely helpful. Their blog has tons of helpful posts about how to start into film photography! I would undoubtedly recommend them!
